Today is not an excuse to prove value to your relationship, but a ‘holiday’ like any other to celebrate that special relationship (if you’re in one) & to remind ourselves to always appreciate that special person in our life. I know everyone always says “Valentine’s day should be everyday in a relationship” but you know deep down that isn’t the perfect reality! I know people overstress about the idea of last minute gifting or late night searches for a perfect or different gift (unlike the one you give every other year) so whether you are materialistic or sentimentel enjoy it & be happy with yourself if you are single! I guess people dwell on this so much when they are alone on VDay just as they would if they were lonely without family on Christmas. & if you celebrate it or not please be kind to each other & don’t bash others who do care to find this important.. Share the gift of love! Ahh rambling :P
